I have had the most success I've had so far trying the GAPS diet. It is a really, weird diet (you'll have to google it) that focuses on healing and sealing the gut. It has not been easy. I'm getting pretty sick of bone broth and fermented vegetables. But, it has been so worth it to have increased energy and decreased pain. I have been finding since I've started the GAPS diet that my body is rejecting foods that I had previously been eating on a regular basis. In addition to eggs, which I think I mentioned in a previous post, I also throw up when I eat kale or beats. I am very limited in what I can eat without getting cramps and stomach pain. Any green vegetable right now gives me stomach pain. It is like my body was working against itself before to ward off foods that had become toxic to my body. This is obviously not true for most people but after doing lots of research (my favorite site is "gutsy girl" I think it is true for me. I am continuing the GAPS diet and food eliminination diet, along with daily rebounding to get my lymph moving to try to get my body to heal itself. For the first time in a long time I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
Romans 5:5
"And hope does not disappoint us because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
